Granada

Granada is a city in Nicaragua, which is the largest country in Central America. The country is full of places to explore. However, it has not had many visits in the recent past.  Nevertheless, things to do in Granada have managed to become popular with tourists every year. 1. Islets of Granada

Touring the Islets of Granada is like taking a boat ride through a lake filled with small islands. The small narrows waterways were formed after Mount Mombacho explored thousands of years ago. Tours to the islets start from the docks of Granada, and you can stop for a snack, and explore. The islands are home to bird and marine life visible from the boats. 1. Hike up Volcan Mombacho

Nicaragua has many volcanos, and Volcan Mombacho is the mountain for you. This mountain is easy to climb. A 4WD vehicle will take you half the way and you only hike for about one mile.

1. Volcan Masaya

Another mountain to climb is Volcan Masaya, which may be scary for some because of the lava constantly bubbling from below. Volcan Masaya is in the largest National Park. At this Granada attraction, you can take a cave tour to see the bats.

1. Ride a Carriage

Horse carriages are available throughout the city. You do not have to struggle to find one.  Going on horse-drawn carts can be fun for the whole family. The carts move slowly allowing you sufficient time to see the town like in the old days. Make sure to pick a driver who speaks English to learn all about Granada attractions.

The zip lines are about 2 kilometres long, and kids can join in the fun. On the zip line, you will above the canopy, which affords you great views and excitement.
